Where is the college located?

The City campus is situated at K.R. Circle and is in the neighbourhood of Vidhana Soudha. The Departments of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering are spread over 15 acres of land, in the heart of the city at K.R.Circle. Proximity to the city bus stand and Visvesvaraya Metro Station connects one easily to any part of the city. The Departments of Civil Engineering and Architecture are located in the salubrious outskirts of Bangalore City at Jnanabharathi Campus.

Where will I need to go if I am joining Civil/Architecture branches?

Civil Students (UG) need to come to K R Circle campus for the first year. Later, for the next 3 years, all classes will be held at Jnanabharathi Campus. PG Students of Civil Engineering need to visit JB Campus only.
Architecture students will have to attend all the five year of their classes only at Jnanabharathi Campus.

Has CBCS(Choice Based Credit System) been implemented in UVCE?

CBCS(Choice Based Credit System) has been introduced in 2018 in UVCE and the current first year students are all inducted as part of this curriculum only. They will continue in this system for their entire course. The next batches joining will also come under the same scheme.

How is Campus Placement in UVCE?

Nearly 80 % of the UG students and 50 % of PG students get placed through campus interviews every year.
